Epiroc is proud to announce the latest additions to our product portfolio: the RockStar 7 and the RockStar 9F. These core bits build upon the proven benefits of the existing RockStar line, including the signature self-sharpening ability that eliminates the need for manual sharpening.
Product Features and Applications:
Variable Ground Optimization: Both new models are ideal for shallow-hole or underground drilling where ground conditions are highly variable. They allow drillers to adjust parameters to increase penetration rates without sacrificing bit life. When paired with high-performance drill rigs, they enable significantly faster advancement.
RockStar 7: Specifically developed for ground conditions ranging from 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. Its specialized matrix is engineered to maintain strong penetration performance even when encountering quartz veins.
RockStar 9F: Designed for harder ground, between 6 and 7.25 on the Mohs scale. We have enhanced the "free-cutting" ability of this model, ensuring it cuts efficiently across all available configurations.
