To reinforce our commitment to excellence and to protect your investment, we have implemented the GeoEspace™ Replacement Guarantee — a comprehensive policy that ensures clients receive a qualified replacement consultant if the initial match fails to meet expectations or contractual obligations.

Purpose of the Guarantee

The purpose of this Replacement Guarantee is to:

  • Minimize operational risks associated with consultant turnover or mismatch.
  • Strengthen confidence in GeoEspace™'s consultant selection and matching process.
  • Ensure project continuity without unnecessary delays or added costs.
  • Provide clients with a structured and transparent recourse in case of dissatisfaction.

Coverage Periods & Scenarios

1. Trial Period Protection (First 7 Days of Engagement)

All engagements arranged through GeoEspace™ begin with a 7-day trial period, allowing the client to assess:

  • The consultant's technical performance
  • Adherence to deadlines and deliverables
  • Communication skills and responsiveness
  • Team compatibility and professionalism

GeoEspace™ offers international companies the option to hire consultants for a short-term contract, such as 1-2 months, to test the consultant’s work. GeoEspace™ can facilitate the contract and guarantee refund or replacement if the company is unsatisfied. If, during this initial period, the client determines that the consultant is not a suitable fit, the client may request:

  • A replacement consultant at no additional charge, or
  • A full refund of platform and service fees if no replacement is desired.

No justification is required during this trial period, although we encourage feedback to enhance our matching algorithm and candidate screening.

2. Post-Trial Period Coverage

After the 7-day trial, clients remain eligible for a replacement under the following documented conditions:

  • The consultant fails to meet agreed deliverables or deadlines without valid justification.
  • The consultant exhibits unprofessional behaviour, such as poor communication, repeated absences, or breach of confidentiality.
  • The consultant disengages or becomes unavailable mid-project.
  • The quality of the work delivered is demonstrably below the required technical standards.

GeoEspace™ will review all cases thoroughly and work closely with the client to determine the most appropriate course of action.

Replacement Process

If a replacement is required, GeoEspace™ commits to the following process:

1. Client submits a replacement request via their project dashboard or directly via email to support@geoespace.ca.

2. Our Support and Talent teams will:

  • Acknowledge the request within 24-48 business hours
  • Review the contract, project status, and feedback.
  • Determine eligibility based on the issue and available documentation.

3. If validated, a new consultant profile or multiple profiles will be presented within 3-7 business days.

4. Once approved by the client, the new consultant will integrate into the project with minimal delay.

Note: The replacement process is handled confidentially and professionally to ensure smooth transitions and maintain service quality.

Conditions & Limitations

To ensure fairness and transparency, the following conditions apply:

  • The Replacement Guarantee is valid only for projects and contracts initiated and managed exclusively via the GeoEspace™ platform.
  • Replacement eligibility is subject to the terms defined in the original contract and must not result from changes in scope or job description that were not agreed upon by the consultant.
  • Clients must provide sufficient context and/or documentation, such as emails, missed milestones, or reports, when requesting a post-trial replacement.
  • Clients must have complied with their own contractual obligations, such as timely communication, payment, and provision of materials.
  • Repeated, unjustified replacement or refund requests may be reviewed for abuse of the system.

Our Commitment to Quality

GeoEspace™ works only with consultants who have passed a multi-stage vetting process, including:

  • Verification of academic credentials and certifications
  • Technical skill assessments and project simulations
  • Language and communication proficiency
  • Interviews and reference checks
  • Simulation like a real-life exercise

Despite this, we understand that mismatches may occur. Our Replacement Guarantee reflects our confidence in the talent we provide and our commitment to delivering results — no matter what.

What Happens to the Original Consultant?

In the interest of fairness, consultants subject to replacement requests will:

  • Be notified of the request and provided with anonymized feedback where appropriate.
  • Have an opportunity to respond or provide their version of events.
  • Undergo performance review by GeoEspace™'s internal compliance team.
  • Face possible suspension or removal from the platform in cases of repeated noncompliance or misconduct.
